In memory of Katherine G. Johnson (August 26, 1918 – February 24, 2020), we will have a viewing of the ‘Hidden Figures’ movie. Learn more about the movie here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hidden_Figures
Katherine G. Johnson was an African-American mathematician and NASA scientist who played a key role in the Space Race mission. She leaves behind an extraordinary legacy as being one of the pioneers in space science and computing, and has been described as someone who “refused to be limited by society’s expectations of her gender and race while expanding the boundaries of humanity’s reach”.
